When I was a kid (in the 70’s) adverts were fun. At least the one’s I remember talking about down the swings were. I’m either getting too old or I just don;t notice anymore, but there’s not much of that kind of expression anymore.

Thing is the fun one’s have stuck with me all my life. That’s why even now I live in Australia I still buy PG Tips – because of the chimps.

So anyway, I had an idea for TESCO.

It goes like this (to the chorus from D.I.S.C.O. by Ottawan I think it was)

T.E.S.C.O, we like T.E.S.C.O.

She likes T 
Ta-ra-ma-salata

He likes E
Eggs

They like S
Saus-ages

We like C
Cuppa-cinoOOOOOOH

(Repeat)

It’s the perfect summer ad. Can you imagine the legions of families driving their Ford Mondeos around next summer singing away? 

Well, if you’re from Tesco, you can have the idea, it’s no use to me without you.
